Frequently asked questions
Authenticity, certificates, buying through eBay, shipping and returns.
Are your props genuine?
Yes. Every piece we sell comes from a real film or television production. Many were used on screen; others are set decoration, production-made pieces that never made it on screen, or production merchandise, and each listing tells you which it is. We source our props from established, professional companies that specialise in film and TV props, and every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from an independent specialist.
What does screen-used mean?
A screen-used prop is a piece that was used in front of the camera during filming. Not everything we sell is screen-used: we also offer set decoration, production-made pieces that never made it on screen, and production merchandise. Each listing tells you what the piece is and which film or series it comes from.
What is a certificate of authenticity?
A certificate of authenticity (COA) is a document that confirms what a piece is and which production it comes from. Every prop we sell comes with one, issued by an independent company that specialises in authenticating film and TV props.
Why do you sell through eBay?
eBay gives you a secure checkout and eBay’s Money Back Guarantee on every purchase, and you can see our seller feedback before you buy. Every prop on this site links straight to its eBay listing.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we ship worldwide from the UK, tracked and insured. The postage cost for your country is shown on the eBay listing. If you are outside the UK, your country may charge import duty, taxes or handling fees. Where eBay collects these at checkout, you will see them before you pay.
How is my prop packed?
Each prop is packed by hand to protect it in transit and sent tracked and insured. You get the tracking number through eBay as soon as it is on its way.
Can I return a prop?
Yes. We accept returns through eBay, under the return policy shown on each listing, and every purchase is also covered by eBay’s Money Back Guarantee. If something isn’t right, contact us through eBay or by email and we will sort it out.
Can you find a prop from a specific film or series?
Tell us what you are looking for and we will let you know if we have it or can find it. Use the contact form or email us at propstillyoudrop@gmail.com.
Can I sell you props from my collection?
Yes, we are always interested in authentic film and TV props. Send us photos and any paperwork or certificates you have through the contact form or by email, and we will get back to you.
How should I care for and display a prop?
Keep it out of direct sunlight, away from damp and heat, and handle it as little as possible. Many collectors display props in a closed case or a frame with UV-protective glass, together with their certificate of authenticity.
